Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog, and here’s a little about me. My name is Ron Toppin and I am a proud father of 4 wonderful children, 2 girls and 2 boys. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife since 2003. I have had an enjoyable career in several different fields. I’m currently a Senior IT Analyst, but have been an electrician for many years. One thing I really enjoy is sharing what I have learned over the years with people.
I served in the United States Navy for 3 years, started working, and went to school for many years. I went to several community colleges, and finished my 4 year degree in 2012. After taking a break for 5 years, I started working on my Master’s Degree in Networking Technology with a concentration in Information Security. Obtaining my degrees was something that I am very proud of. If I can accomplish this feat anyone can.
As far as professional certifications, I have my MCSE and MCSA from Microsoft. I also am a state certified maintenance electrician with the state of North Carolina.
My goal with this blog is to hopefully provide some content that many different people will find useful. I will be posting various topics from technology and home automation. In addition to that, I plan on providing information on hobbies I have. There are many interests I have in outdoor activities, and will include posts on that as well.
